Now you know what you want to achieve and you know if there are any skills you need to learn first, or things you need to get before you start, start making plans. Make these plans practical – a step-by-step guide towards your ultimate goals.
Build a positive self-image
If you can convince yourself that you have the ability to achieve your goal, you will be more motivated towards taking steps to achieve that goal. If you’re not sure you can do it, you’ll be nervous and wary of making a wrong move and thus less likely to succeed. So a positive self-image is important. To help you get this positive self-image and the confidence that comes with it – be aware of your successes as you achieve each target you set.
Keep your aim in mind
The journey towards achieving your aim will not always be smooth and things won’t always be easy to achieve. Don’t be discouraged when you hit setbacks and difficulties.
