How To Be Successful In Life – You Have To See It First
Imagine That Ideal Life And It Just Might Happen
Do you have a dream, an ambition in life? No? Well then now is the time to get one. Dreams and ideals are powerful things – more powerful than you perhaps realize. They help you think outside the box, imagining not just what is true of here and now, but looking into the future and envisaging what might be. If you can imagine a better life, one where you are happier and more successful, then you are long way towards achieving it.
Conversely – if you go through life not knowing what you want and not striving for a particular goal, then you will probably achieve very little and you will be likely to be dissatisfied with your life, thinking on what you could have done if only you’d tried, or feeling that your life was lacking in some way but not really know in what way. Neither of those states is likely to make you very happy. If you don’t know what you wish for you can’t aim for it and you can’t plan to make it happen, therefore it probably won’t happen.
What you need to do is discover an ambition – something you want to achieve in life. It doesn’t matter what that ambition is, so long as it is something you want. It can be big or small – but it must be attractive to you. Just having something to aim for in life changes your whole outlook and the way you approach life.
Thinking about that ideal life puts the idea into your subconscious mind, which then sets to work on it without you having to really work on it. So you gain something for very little effort. Result!
You will soon find that things you see in everyday life remind you of that ideal life you imagined. Now you’ve thought about it, it is difficult to cast totally from your mind. Again, your subconscious mind does some work, planning some ways that may get you nearer to your idealized life. You will start to think beyond the here and now to envisage new possibilities.
The idea then gets tossed around between your subconscious and conscious mind and between them they make some plans. If you’re brave enough, you even take a couple of actions towards attaining this ideal life. Suddenly, you’re on the right path and your ideal life seems a whole lot more possible to attain.
So don’t under-estimate the power of imagination. Your brain is a powerful force but one you are not completely in control of. Once you give it an idea it tends to run away with that idea and work on it, whether you want it to or not. Why not use that power for your own good and start imagining positive things?
Think of your ideal life, build a dream around it and begin to see yourself living that ideal life. Pretty soon your brain will get to work on it and will present you with opportunities and ideas for how you just might make that ideal life happen.
To your success,
